Back-To-School Shopping Spree for 100 Little’s
more than clothes
“Artizia gifted the chance for so many of the youth we support to connect with their peers and create shared memories”
– Chantelle Krish, Executive Director of Big Sisters
Thanks to our friends at Aritzia, 100 youth who are currently part of the Big Sisters programs received the amazing opportunity to go on a shopping spree for back-to-school outfits at the annual Aritzia Warehouse sale.
Aritzia’s community initiative offered 100 wristbands for the Littles and their families to grow their wardrobe and pick out new clothing items and accessories for the new school year! The youth were able to shop comfortably at no cost, and just in time for the beginning of school.
A mother of one Little said, “Thank you so much! My daughter was able to get all the stuff she needed for back to school.”
Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland provides supportive mentoring relationships for youth and children who may be facing challenges like bullying, isolation, poverty, abuse, social anxiety, low self-esteem, and more at no cost. Since 1960, we’ve been building resilience in the youth we serve, to create safer schools and communities, and a brighter future for all.
With the support and generosity of community donors and supporters like Aritzia, Big Sisters is able to continue to do the work we do. Every little bit makes a big difference and helps to support a child in reaching their fullest potential.
