How It Works: Building Inclusive, Supportive Communities

My Voice, My Power! is an eight-session program guided by 2-3 trained mentors. In this program, participants discuss personal boundaries, learn about their rights, and build friendships. Together, they discover how to support themselves and one another, helping to create safe and welcoming environments for everyone.

Why This Program Matters: Supporting Youth in Gender-Based Violence Prevention

Many youth have a hard time understanding their identities and feeling safe. The My Voice, My Power! Program gives participants the skills to face these challenges. It helps them feel stronger and teaches them how to stand up for themselves and others in the face of gender-based violence. These skills help make schools and communities safer and more welcoming.
